Ready, SET, GO! We have this week to work out bugs and getting things set. Please come prepared to work and be patient as we make sure we have all holes covered in blocking and choreography.

Here are several tasks for you to do from this post, information to follow:

2-Sign up for potluck June 1
3-Sign up for concession/ticketing and help spread the word to get volunteers(post link on personal social media, tell youth groups etc.)
4-Sign up for Breakdown(mandatory) and chair set up if you can
5-Go through Be a team player notes with yourself or child so expectations are there for Tech/Show
6-Familiarize yourself with what to expect the next few weeks! This is going to be so fun! Any problems are questions as your Pro Team.

Concession/TicketingVolunteer SIGN UPS-
We are in need of helpers with concession and ticketing. If you are in the cast and your family member signs up to help volunteer you will receive an additional free ticket for the show. (Emily will send those out via email so please let her know if this applies)

BE A TEAM PLAYER!- Notes to remember in community theater
AFTER REHEARSAL/Shows/TECH: Help keep things clean! Please remember we don't leave until things are cleaned up and ready for the next day. We will be asking for cast to help clean the dressing rooms at night starting June 1. See Bathroom doors for sign ups.
*REMINDER FOR BACKSTAGE- get into the habit of being super quiet backstage. All sound carries on to the stage and on the mics.
*Do not touch things that are not yours backstage
*Please hang up your costumes nicely after the show and let Laura know if there are any problems with your outfit BEFORE you leave
Remaining Rehearsals and Rehearsals during tech and shows:Parents, please do not wait for your child in the red zone when picking up. I know it is a pain but if at all possible find a parking spot or pull up when you see people being excused.
May 21- 23 Call time is 6 pm sharp! Know we will be fighting lots of events and other parking so allow yourself time.
May 28: Call time is 6 pm. Be ready to work with orchestra and you will be allowed in dressing rooms starting today. Please remember dressing room rules(see website under costumes)
May 29 Call time 6 pm-we add costumes and hair only(see website or link). Please be ready, mic on(if applicable), and in costume before 6:15 pm
RODEO and parking: THIS IS IMPORTANT PARENTS AND CAST
May 30, May 31 we will be battling the rodeo. You can not park in the parking lot. Please carpool as much as possible. Parents you can not wait in the red zones to pick up kids- the police have asked us not to have you guys do this. For May 30 and 31 ONLY- You will need to drive down to the stage past the big gate next to the pavilion and turn right, and stay on outside of the pillars to pick up your child. We will direct you. All cast with a car you will need to park under the pavilion by the stage.
June 1 we should be fine to use the parking lot.

PLEASE NOTE starting June 3- all cast will enter from the prop room stairs during the run of the show. This will allow stage crew to prep the house and stage accordingly.
June 6- Mountain Mikes is providing pizza- If you have dietary restrictions you need to let Emily know asap. Food will be ready at 5:45 and served at the picnic tables at the southwest end. Call time is 6:30. Those with a makeup call time will be different- ask Shelby.
June 6-17 Call time is 6:30 pm. You have 30 mins to get dressed, get your mic, set your props. Please plan accordingly. Mic check is promptly at 7 pm. Vocal warmups and cast meeting at 7:30 in prop room. House opens at 7:30 pm.
June 15 we will be doing a Chili's night were everyone can buy their own food, the pro team will pick it up and get it to the pavilion and we will have a little party after the show June 15.
Set BREAKDOWN June 17 after closing night is tear down. All cast members should have 1-2 people come to help tear down the set- must be 16 and older. Please see specific sign ups on the Cast volunteer page( After closing night we take everything down. we are usually there until 1 am. If we have lots of people it goes quickly. We will have teams and something for everyone to do. We will need gloves, hammers, etc to take the set down. People to clean dressing rooms and organize props. Sweep and take down stage etc. We appreciate all the help to get this done quickly. We usually order pizza too so it really is a party. June 27 at 6:30 at City Hall will be our cast party. Dinner potluck provided and will send out sign ups later. We will be watching the show and enjoying our last time together.
